Anger Over Mudslide
Residents displaced by the Maggie Valley mudslide will meet with the Red Cross Tuesday to discuss each families specific case. Tuesday they expressed concern about the potential of another slide that could contain as much as 16 thousand tons of additional debris.
Locals want Ghost Town in the Sky to take more responsibility. The amusement park says a retaining wall on their property failed and that's where the slide began. Ghost Town employee and investor Randy Bryan tells News-13 "It's not a time to place blame I mean if I could have stopped it from happening I'd of stood there with a shovel and done it you can't stop something like this. This is an act of God and for some reason he done it."
