WMYA Weather

Tonight, with clear skies and a fading wind, temperatures will cool quickly into the 30s across mountain valleys. This will mean areas of frost after 2A.M. Thursday morning. Winds will be stronger over Asheville and the French Broad River Valley, thus temperatures should only cool into the upper 30s to around 40 in places.

Thursday will bring more sunshine to the region. Temperatures will be milder with highs in the lower and middle 60s across mountain valleys, to the lower 70s in the Upstate. Friday brings more clouds as sunshine will be filtered for the region. Temperatures will still be able to warm into the 60s over the mountain valleys, to 70s south into the Upstate.

The coming weekend will be one to remember with ample sunshine each day. Cold starts with temperatures in the 30s and 40s for Western North Carolina, but mild afternoons with highs in the 60s and 70s. Enjoy!
