WMYA Weather

Not much is going to change weather-wise the next few days. Storm chances will remain high and temperatures below average. Friday looks to be another wet and stormy day with showers and thundershowers likely, especially during the afternoon. Locally heavy rain will be the biggest threat for most mountain locations, but strong to damaging winds will also accompany some of the storms over the Upstate.

Expect more scattered, mostly P.M. showers and storms again for your holiday weekend. Locally heavy rain will be the main threat for most, but some storms may once again produce damaging winds and large hail. Temperatures will reach around 80 degrees for most mountain valleys, to the middle 80s over the Upstate.

Next week may likely be a bit less active with storm chances lessening somewhat. In response to this, temperatures will be allowed to warm more easily, getting into the middle 80s for most mounain valleys, to upper 80s for the Upstate.
